Tools like Twitch, where as of right now 3.9k viewers view ESO streams and where as of right now 73.6k viewers view FFXIV streams (even if you take away Asmon’s viewers FFXIV still has more viewers than ESO). Bethesda and SE do not publish number of active players for obvious reasons, however there are other tools which are useful for approximation and comparison between those games. Queues by themselves do not tell anything because it’s unknown which number of active players those queues trigger at. We regularly (at least on the PC NA server) hit short queues during peak time just like FFXIV There are thing not to like about ESO…but it’s silly how much is just assumed about the game, hell I still see folk pasting the url to that Angry Joe review that is like ten years old.
